BBQ Ribs

Let’s face it, everyone who knows their way around a grill has a BBQ dish they love.

Ribs can be smoked, grilled stir fried or baked or broiled in the oven.

The one common rib ingredient is the seasoning or “rub”…and no two rubs are alike! That said, here's a “suggested” simple and delicious BBQ rib rub recipe. Add or subtract at your leisure!

Ingredients:

For 2 racks of by back ribs

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika

  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder

  • 1 tablespoon onion powder

  • 1 teaspoon of sage

  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to heat taste)

  • 1 tablespoon chili powder

  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions:

Mix the brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, chili powder, black pepper, and salt.

Rub the spice mixture evenly over both sides of the ribs.

And that is it! I like to let my rubbed meat for @15 minutes to give the spices a cool start in soaking in.

Cook your ribs in the way you like. I will give ya’ll my tops and tricks on cooking ribs in another post!

Finish on the Grill (Optional):
